Scottish council loses ÂŁ100,000 to African scam

South Lanarkshire Council has lost ÂŁ102,000 to an African gang after falling for a letter based scam. Google ordered to pay compensation for automated defamation

Google has been ordered to pay €5000 to a Frenchman who claimed he was libelled by automatic suggestions on Google’s search page.
