We at the legal review site Solicitor.info are expanding our offerings to incorporate legal service providers in Australia and New Zealand. The USA is the next logical step.
Leaning from the revolution in the service industry brought about by Trip Advisor and its ilk, we have been empowering consumers to make decisions based on transparency and real-life information sharing. Too often in the past consumers experienced ineffectual and expensive services, as information sharing was limited. It was this type of negative experience that led me to form solicitor.info in 2007 and since then over 19,000 have left reviews, enabling people to make informed and meaningful decisions about whose services to employ. It is this success that had led to us broadening its service and offering a more transparent legal approach to the antipodean market.
The website operates a unique platform, containing information about compliance breaches from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and ombudsman, client reviews and other information all on one searchable site, empowering the consumer to make an informed choice based on meaningful data.
We want to build upon a record of emancipating consumers from the traditional legal system and empowering them to make informed decisions when choosing a solicitor. As such, they are appealing to the public for more information to help them, help others. Particularly in the new territories. If you have ever had a bad experience with a solicitor then let them know, so that others can avoid making the same mistake. If you have had a good experience with a solicitor then let them know, so that their good work is rewarded with more clients.
Whatever your experience with review websites, we would be happy to talk with you. Law firms in the UK are using reviews sites as an essential part of their marking mix enabling consumers to have all the information about the great work a law firm have done for previous happy clients.
As with any review site this might not be for every Law firm as law firms consistently offering poor service will not benefit from this, in fact it will be harmful. Overall this should be a wake-up call for such law firms to up their game or lose business.
