Litigation all round for Berezovsky

The exiled Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky has denied charges of sending a threatening text to a former employee with a signature at the bottom of ‘Dr Evil’.  His accuser told the Commercial Court in London that Berezovsky had said he was watching him, eavesdropping on his calls and controlling his Skype.

Meanwhile Mr Berezovsky is bringing charges of his own in his £3bn case against Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich who he says “intimidated” him into selling his shares in the Russian oil firm Sibneft for a fraction of their worth.

The text allegation has been made by Chelsea director and associate of Mr Abramovich Eugene Tenenbaum.
